Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board Re-launches Website

Send by emailNew York – September 25, 2013 – Puerto Vallarta, one of Mexico’s leading destinations, will launch an updated Website today at 7 PM EST with a cyber party on twitter (#puertovallarta) and Facebook. The latest update is an effort to take advantage of the latest trends in the digital world and offer its visitors the latest tools to learn about the destination’s diverse tourism opportunities and book travel to Puerto Vallarta. Framed by the Bay of Banderas and the Sierra Madre, this Pacific Coast sea port stands alone in Mexico’s tourism sector because in its almost hundred years of existence it has been able to maintain its colonial, pueblo soul rich with traditions and cultures while keeping up with the latest trends. In the previous year, the destination has introduced a completely new look, with a pedestrian and handicap friendly modern boardwalk and downtown area as well as Los Muertos Pier.     Visitors to the new site will find that the new www.visitpuertovallarta.com features a complete new layout designed to peruse while obtaining information and using tools to help guide consumers to plan and book their ideal vacation. The new site will also be 100% smart phone friendly, Retina display ready, and offer the opportunity for content to be shared via all popular forms of Social Media. Content management system tools will also allow users to upload information to the site to share with visitors to the site and a Blog section will provide a platform for the destination to publish different campaign promotions the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board is undertaking.   In the weeks prior to the unveiling of the new design of www.visitpuertovallarta.com, Puerto Vallarta has been promoting the site via search engine marketing, events and promotions across the United States and Canada, with a creative visual countdown that fades the colorful logo and brand of the image and slowly shows its true colors like a sunrise.   The Website was last renovated in May 2012 when it added a slideshow of stunning images of the destination rotating and redirecting visitors to the main sections of the Web site, easy access, a video and Social Media section and a Booking Engine. Additional information on Puerto Vallarta is available at www.visitpuertovallarta.com
